Caleb's First Day of Preschool!!

Tuesday was Caleb's first day at preschool! He was not sure about the whole thing, but was very proud to show it off to his brothers who helped get him settled in! He goes to Kinder Kollege and his teacher is Mrs. Rie, who has shown him a lot of love already. He had a bit of a hard time when we went to orientation, but he seemed to be more at ease this week. He goes with his triplet cousins Henry, Lucy, and Carly. I think that has helped having familiar faces there as well. Emily, their mom, said that after I left the first day, he played fine but had no intrest in doing what the rest of the class was doing. Oh well! He moves at his own pace!:) He has been excited to show me what he has done when I pick him up. He is very proud of his work. I am too! He is growing up so fast!!

Brigham's First Day of Kindergarten!!

Time flies, doesn't it? Just yesterday I was saying " I have five years till Brigham will be in school." I thought that was forever away, but now it is already here! Brigham started Kindergarten this past Tuesday and has been enjoying it thoroughly. He had no problem walking right into his class, talking to his teacher, and playing with Friends. Brave little one. He is like his mom, in that he shows no emotion about things like that. I had no problem letting him go, no tears on the walk home, no sadness at all. I think it is great, and just another step in the process(a big step at that, though). I am very proud of him! He really looks forward to the walk to school. All the kids from our neighborhood meet at the church parking lot and walk together. It is like a mass exodus. He has fun walking with all his friends, and I enjoy chatting with the moms!

After the Slides, We went to the Park!

Fun at the Alpine Slide!

So a few Saturdays ago we decided to go up to the Alpine Slides. We got a babysitter for Gavin and went and had a blast! The boys were nervous to go on the slide, but once we got going, they were both laughing and screaming for more! We did the slide, the kid rides, the Alpine rollercoster(highly recommend) and Brigham did the trampoline. Kindof pricey, but well worth the money! It was a great day spent with the kidos!!

Cereal Anyone!!

I know what you are all thinking...ABOUT TIME!!! I am afraid there is probably nobody left looking because of my lack of interest in blogging this summer. Hopefully some of you still look. Anyway, to get the ball rolling again, I give you Gavin in all his glory! This child loves cereal, especially the sugary kind(which surprisingly this is not), and likes it most right out of the bag. Here is what Rustin found one morning, due to my ignorance. Might I just add that I am sure this child was in heaven till the instant he was caught! He fought the clean up right to the bitter end!

MEMORIES!!!

Here is a fun little game... Leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time, or a long time, anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. On your mark...get set...blog your memories!!

New Stroller!

So this is my new stroller!! It is a Joovy ultralight caboose. I am so excited because this will take the place of two of my old junker strollers, the single and the double. Rus and I have been thinking about getting one for a while, but Disneyland and a walk where the wheel fell off(about 1/2 a mile from home, that was fun) convinced us of our need for something. I love this stroller so much, I wish that I would have bought it right from the get go. The nice thing is that it holds a carseat, Caleb can just hop in and out at his leisure, and its not as big and bulky as a double. The only drawback is that the basket underneath is not a big. I recommend this to everyone who has more than one child.
