Gateway fun

Last week we decided to brave the snow and get out of the house. We have all had colds forever and had not gone anywhere, so when it seemed like we were well enough, we went to the Gateway musuem downtown. If you have never been there and have kids, you need to go. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Brigham and Caleb's favorite is probably the construction site, the fountain area and the grocery store(Brigham loves to be the checker). The ultimate boy attraction, though, is the real helicopter sitting outside on a helipad. Lifeflight donated it, and the kids can get it and pretend to fly it. An overwhelming thumbs up for a snowy day!

Gymnastics!

In January we signed Brigham and Caleb up for a Gymnastics class. I know it sounds kind of girly, but i figured it would be fun anyway. We also recruited one of Brigham's friends, Ethan, to join in too, so we had a good surge of boys coming. Brigham took to it immediately and has enjoyed it immensely. Caleb was not interested AT ALL. The second time going he cried the whole way there, and then refused to go in. We ended up taking him out, and all has been well since. Brigham has learned how to walk on balance beams, do handstands(against a wall) and had started doing the bars just recently. He has a blast! It is just like going in a room and getting to play on all cool stuff set up.
